Abstract

The article discusses the impact of the Syrian Civil War on women, specifically on women refugees in Jordan. Topics include the social conditions facing Syrian women who are displaced, the number of female-headed households in Jordon among refugees, and unemployment rates among refugee women. Other topics include traditional gender roles, sexual harassment and violence, and nongovernmental organizations which focus on helping the women.
