Abstract

This book is a tribute to the WASP, Women Airforce Service Pilots, heroic young women who flew military aircraft during WWII. This special group of women were picked to pull aerial targets over gunnery ranges while antiaircraft trainees fired live ammunition at the targets. This pioneering work was at Camp Davis, North Carolina.
