In the Combat Zone: An Oral History of American Women in Vietnam, 1966-75

This book is a collection of interviews with twenty women who served in Vietnam. It recreates the horror and pain of the war and offers a radically different version of the conflict in Southeast Asia. For the first time we hear the voices of the women who were in the Vietnam war and their experiences, thoughts, reactions, treatment by American society, and lack of help from the VA and veteran's organizations.
