Abstract

This book by the German journalist and writer Erich Kuby describes the occupation of Berlin by the Soviet Red Army  after the bloody Battle of Berlin from March to May 1945. The book also includes a chapter on the mass rape of  women in Berlin by enraged Soviet soldiers who wanted revange for everything  soldiers of the German Wehrmacht and SS men  of the so-called Nazi Protection Squadron (Schutzstaffell, SS) had done to destroy their home country and violate Russian women and children.
