A moving portrait of Arab immigrant life in America following 9/11 and the Iraq War. Muna, a Christian Palestinian, lives and works in the West Bank until she receives a green card in the lottery. She and her son move in with her sister's family in a Chicago suburb, where they experience downward social and economic mobility and daily harassment but also unexpected friendships.
