Abstract

This volume is a memoir of the author's life as a spy for France during World War I. A trained pilot prior to the outbreak of World War I, the author immediately wanted to join the war as an aviator but wasn't permitted. After her husband was killed in battle, she became a spy with the Central Intelligence Section (SCR) under Commandant Ladoux. She worked undercover in Spain, luring the German naval attache, Baron von Krohn, into a relationship in order to spy on German naval movements.
