Abstract	Marie-Octobre is a 1959 French film based on the 1948 eponymous novel by Jacques Robert, released also as Secret Meeting. This suspensful drama finds ten members of the underground uniting fifteen years after the end of World War II. Marie-Octobre arranges a meeting of former undercover Resistance fighters with the intent to find out who betrayed their leader, who was killed by the Germans. The search for the traitor puts each personality in the spotlight – and also that of the killed leader, Castille.
