Abstract

This World War II comedy imagines how the French Resistance and German intelligence officers cohabitated in Parisian hotels. The Royal Palace Hotel and its staff begrudgingly host the Abwehr, the German counter-intelligence service. The staff gather information for the Resistance, while the German officers seek to find the identity of Resistance leader "D'Artagnan" who coordinates the intelligence from all occupied hotels.
