Le diable au corps / Devil in the Flesh

During the First World War in France, a young nurse in a military hospital--who is engaged to a soldier away at the front--begins a relationship with a high school student, too young to join the Army. However, she and her lover drift apart, and Marthe marries her fiancé Jacques. But the lovers will regret their separation. They begin an extra-marital affair, heedless of the consequences.
