Yī Jǐu Sì Èr / Back to 1942

A famine in the Henan province reveals the moral and political failings of the Nationalist Government of China during the Second Sino-Japanese War. A once wealthy landlord slowly loses his family and status as they escape the famine, an American missionary loses his faith in God, and an American journalist writes an expose that forces the government to address the problem.
