Geschlechtergeschichte und Allgemeine Geschichte: Herausforderungen und Perspektiven

Gender history challenges historical scholarship to rethink, because it questions the basic assumptions of traditional historiography, its categories, its dichotomous patterns of thought, but above all its firmly established criteria of relevance. So far, historiography has only inadequately responded to these challenges. What, on the other hand, might a historiography look like that constructively uses the potential of gender history?
