Abstract

This website, created by Physicians for Human Rights (PHR), provides users with access to materials of the international nongovernmental organization, which seeks to investigate and document human-rights abuses, particularly by providing specialist expertise. It also seeks to aid persecuted or threatened health workers, prevent torture, document mass atrocities, and hold accountable those who committ torture and sexual violence, attack on civilians, use force during civil unrest. In English and in Arabic, the site offers thematic collections on many of these areas including advocacy, forensic analysis, and asylum. Activities have been global in scope, including in conflicts in Colombia, Honduras, Libya, Mexico, Peru, and Sierra Leone.
