Abstract

A made-for-television play, Missiles of October gave American audiences its first dramatization of the Cuban Missile Crisis during the Cold War. It focused on the Kennedy administration's discussions, disagreements, and final consensus to blockade Cuba, which housed the beginning of a Soviet missile installation system.
