Abstract

The article reports how the role of women in Jihadi groups are being redefined, focusing on the Pakistani Taliban known as the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Topics discussed include the Taliban changing their ideology from one eliminating women from the public sphere to one envisioning women as warriors, and the flagship women's magazine of the group "Sunnat-e-Khaula".
