Enfoque Integral de las Perspectivas de Género en Operaciones

Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000) entails the integration of the gender perspective in international security matters. The key instrument for this purpose from the operational point of view is the gender advisor. The role of the gender advisor is to lead, manage and materialize in practice the fundamental change that implies the integration of gender in the field of security. The monograph has been structured in three parts. Part I offers an anthropological, socio-political, psychological and socio-historical perspective. Part II is devoted to domestic and international regulations. Part III analyzes the status of the gender advisor and the integration of the gender perspective in the Forces and Operations.
