The article examines the crucial role of Prague Jew social worker, Marie Schmolka (1893–1940) in the Kindertransports, the scheme organized by British stockbroker Nicholas Winton (1909–2015) to rescue Jewish children from Central Europe in the days leading up to the Second World War.
