Abstract

The article deals with the history of the identity of Jewish women in the military, religious and public spheres since the independence of Israel in 1948. It looks at changes in many aspects of gender relations since the creation of the State redirected Religious-Zionist history. Other topics discussed include the participation of women in religious activities and the promotion of women's rights.
