Abstract

The article highlights one of the dispatches of World War I first female war correspondent Louise Mack, reporting for the "Daily Mail" and the "Evening News" newspapers in London, England, which became the foundation of a 1915 memoir "A Woman's Experiences in the Great War." Topics discussed include her journey through the battle lines in Aerschot, Belgium during World War I and witnessing the outburst of one of the German lieutenant prisoners.
