Abstract

This website is a "scientific watch book" of sorts, gathering and analyzing those issues that cut across gender and war. Gender is interpreted by the website's authors in a broad sense, as a critical knowledge of the power relations between men and women. It therefore includes studies on women, but also masculinities, gender relations, and sexualities. Likewise, through war, one must understand both world conflicts and colonial wars, civil wars or even war anthropology. The authors attempt to tackle these concepts as broadly as possible, without placing any chronological and geographical restrictions.
