Women’s Autobiographies by the Date of Publication

This site allows you to access the collection of women’s autobiographies organized by the last name of the authors. The collection includes autobiographies written by women who actively participated in or lived through an armed conflict covered by the Oxford Handbook of Gender and War since 1600 edited by Karen Hagemann (General Editor), Stefan Dudink, and Sonya Rose (Oxford and New York: Oxford University Press, 2018). The focus of this collection is the twentieth century as the period during which the relevant autobiographies were published.
