Abstract

In 1943, a group of French high school students decided to take action against the occupying Nazi troops. Showing imagination and courage, they succeed in blowing up a Nazi garrison and in rescuing hostages. However, the murder of a German soldier triggers retaliation by the Nazi police apparatus. The young resistance fighters are arrested and two of them are executed.
