Mademoiselle Docteur / Street of Shadows

This femme-fatale spy thriller explored 1930 tensions in Europe by taking a look back at World War I. A young French doctor falls in love with a German spy while attending to the wounded in Greece. She then works on his behalf by pursuing a French intelligence officer for state secrets. An English-language version with exactly the same plot was filmed at the same time under the direction of Edmond T. Gréville, but with some changes in the cast. The English-language version was released in the United States under the title Under Secret Orders.
