Three Kings

This acclaimed black comedy-heist film highlights the greed and incompetence of American foreign policy during the Gulf War (1990-91). After the short war's end, four soldiers venture off base to steal Kuwaiti gold bullion. They encounter Iraqi dissidents, who the United States had encouraged but failed to support. The soldiers decide to help the group of Iraqis reach the Iranian border, an act that defies U.S. policy and results in their court martial.
