This site allows users to browse for entries in the Bibliography, Filmography and Webography on "Gender and War since 1600" sorted by

  1. Author/Director of publication or film (ordered alphabetically)
  2. Title of publication or film (ordered alphabetically)
  3. Year of Publication/Release of publication or film (ordered numerically)
  4. Type of Literature (books, book chapters, films, journals, journal articles, magazine articles, newspaper articles, theses, websites, etc.) (ordered by literature types in the listed sequence and then alphabetically)

Users can export their selected list of literature organized by author, title, year of publication or type of literature when they click below on RTF.

The website is equipped with an OPEN URL FEATURE that allows users to immediately check whether articles, books, etc., are available in their local libraries. An OPEN URL is a standardized link that carries citation information. When a user clicks on an OPEN URL link, the information it contains is sent to a library's URL Resolver (aka link server).
